A small check.
A useful signal.

Native Balance Check v0.2 reads one public EVM address at a fixed block. It distinguishes a balance below your chosen threshold from unavailable RPC data, returning JSON and exit codes for an existing operations workflow.

The starter kit contains MIT-licensed Python source, English and Chinese guides, a synthetic offline demo, an example configuration and 35 local tests. Python 3.10+ and a trusted HTTPS RPC endpoint are the only prerequisites for a real check.

Why a total deadline?

A check can make several requests. A timeout on each request does not impose the same bound on the whole sequence. Slow response bodies can also make individual socket timeouts misleading. The CLI therefore bounds the complete check in a worker process, reports a distinct total-timeout error and cleans up the worker before exit.

The current tool covers one address and one provider, with 18-decimal native assets. Scheduling and notifications remain part of the user's existing operations system. The complete source and regression tests are included for review.
